Customers are always curious about the history of a company. When and how did it get started? Any significant milestones you want to mention? How about important projects or important clients?
My parent always had rental properties and had turned properties as I was growing up so you can say I was kind of born into the business. I had always watched and helped my partners with whatever they would allow me to do. My father sometimes let me make necessary mistakes so I would learn from them; that would show me how much better the right way works.
After being a hydraulic and electrical engineer for five years, I grew tired and went back to my roots. I love taking something old and ugly and making it beautiful and new and it’s always nice to see my customers smiling.
I quit my job and started remodeling again. But working for other contractors just didn’t agree with me. They didn’t care about the customer after the contract was signed and they just rushed the job to close it out. They ordered me to do things incorrectly to finish the job faster and that put me ever the edge. So I started MLP Construction LLC. We are a licensed and insured company that does the job right the first time. I don’t know how many times I had to come after a big companies "B" team and correct what was wrong or even just what they skipped. That just shows that the contractor just didn’t care about his customer. MLP Construction LLC cares about every customer and ever project we work on. Everyone is important. If it’s a concern of yours...it is a concern of ours and we will both be happy and smiling at the end of the day.
